Doh! Barack Obama: 'arrogant US has been dismissive' to allies

President Barack Obama has offered an apology for the Bush era, declaring that America had “shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” towards its allies.

President Obama said the US had “failed to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world”.

His speech in Strasbourg went further than any United States president in history in criticising his own country’s action while standing on foreign soil.....

But of course, he distances himself from that arrogance (very ironic). I was offended when I first read this today. Don't throw our country and its citizens under the bus for your own benefit, Barack! I always suspected he hates our country.

So Obama personally shows his appreciation by giving the British Prime Minister a set of DVDs as a "special" gift, and giving the queen an iPod. Clearly Obama is a man with great discernment

I'm not surprised.

Obama will sell us out in a heartbeat.

That's exactly what he has done with his $9 trillion spending plan, his anti-American rhetoric, his choice of appointments (Eric Holder), his association with George Soros, etc., etc., etc.

And now he's actually apologizing to the socialist Europeans that he is an American?

No, I'm not surprised one bit.

Obama is the Marxist candidate and he is selling us out again....over and over and over.

He will seize every opportunity to destroy America.

Wow he is arrogant.
Does this man have any humility at all?
How could he say anything like that and not have the American people go ballistic?

I never thought I would see the day that a sitting U.S. President would apologize to the world for the U.S. I expect this sort of garbage from Carter as an ex-president but a sitting president? I think I heard rumbling today and I think it was probably all of our deceased presidents rolling in their graves! Can't imagine what on earth the Presidents Bush must think....heck, I don't think Clinton would get behind this either.

If Reagan were alive I believe he'd be apalled.

As to the rest of the past presidents.....I don't think they give a darn. Actually, I became suspicious of all our presidents from the day that President Bush SR. announced, in almost couched words, his yearning for a global community.

I'd give you guys the quote but I don't remember it verbatim.

No doubt Ronnie would be appalled and I think that several of our earliest presidents and founding fathers would be too. I think someone needs to sit this clown down and read him the riot act...better yet, it would be great if there could be a way to get him out of office.

Remember when one of the Dixie Chicks made a comment of being ashamed of Bush. They all but tarred & feathered her.

Remember when Michelle said that this is the first time she could be proud of America. - and now she is First Lady.

Now Obama says traches America as being arrogant. - and he is probably applauded.

How Times do change!

Karl Marx would have been very proud of this usurper. Can't say I'm surprised at his blatant hate and disregard for our country. Look at his radical mentors who he holds in high esteem, Wright, Alinsky...and on and on and on. Nope, no surprise.

Because most of the Obamabots still think he's their man. I spoke with a good friend of mine and she all but called him her messiah and how he inherited such a horrible economy and how she hoped "her man" would pull this country through. Same thing at work. Even Bill O'Reilly tonight handled BO with kid gloves, IMHO. I think Bill's been sipping some of that kool-aid. While he did say that he was bothered by the apology BO gave the Europeans, he doesn't think that BO is leading this country into socialism and that BO's speech and visit will help our country. I have to hand it to Glenn Beck ~ at least he didn't back down when O'Reilly asked him if we were heading toward fasicm/socialism.

There will be no MSM outrage over this unless and until one of our major cities gets hit with a major terrorist attack. And then they'll find a way to blame it on Bush.

The MSM is eyeball deep in the pockets of BO and his administration.
