Thank all of you for your prayers !! Still not smoking and I am surprized at how easy these first few days are. It has always been so hard but this time it is different
 I am so hoping that this time is IT !!!

In two more weeks I will celebrate 15 months without a cigarette. I have not craved a cigarette in quite a few months now. Thank you, Father!!!! We have to remember that cravings decrease in intensity and frequency over time. There is a hand out that I give to my clients that may be of benefit to some of you here. You can google it. It's called "Coping with Cravings" by Dr. John Westermeyer. Love you guys and keep up the great work!!! YOU'RE WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!

Took my patch off yesterday and did pretty good until I got to work where there is a smoker, made me crazy !!! I am working with her again today so I have put a patch back on to be safe . I think today is 6 days ? or 7 ? Still have moments of wanting to smoke but they are not to bad to get through.

Geesh I am so tired all the time!!! I wonder if it is part of the withdrawl from nicotine? I just want to sleep alot and I have been sleeping HARD which is very rare for me since I have never been a good sleeper !!!

Ok!
Tomorrow is my quit date. I am going to check in here daily. I think it will be good for me to be accountable to others. I have been smoking 4.5 years now. Started during a very stressful life event. I want to quit! I want to be healthy! I want to be released from this bondage! I am praying the Lord Jesus Christ will carry this burden and deliver me from this terrible habit! Please pray for me.

 If I can quit ANYONE can lol lol lol !! I have smoked forever and thought I could never stop, But when the Lord decides it is time .......... then it is time !!! I already feel so much better it is amazing since it has only been about 10 days ( it feels ALOT longer ) I am still sleeping alot, I think I use to wake up to smoke, even though at the time I never thought about it, I would wake up, and while I was trying to get back to sleep. I would ofcourse light up. So now I am wondering if my body didn't wake me up for nicotine and now ofcourse it doesn't ? I know I am enjoying the sleep!!!it has got to be great for my health to get extra rest, plus no ciggies, no cough, ... the money saving is WONDERFULL !!! Yesterday was my first full patchless day and it was smooth. This morning I missed smoking with coffee so I had chocolate instead lol lol, everday it gets easier and I am looking forward to the day where I don't think about smoking. Come join us YOU can do it !!!!!

You will feel wonderful when you let go of your addiction! I felt so overwhelmed at first, and I also backed out once from quitting, but I came right back here and did a lot of praying and found the support of this thread amazing Mary has been so supportive and inspiring that it really helps. I will add you to my prayer list.

According to www.msn.com to day was the great smoke-out day!
Many of you ex-smokers ( smoke-free winners) know the feeling of smelling the fresh air. I am so thankful for all of you on the prayer list of smoke-free winners! May all of you have a special Thanksgiving Day. My dh and I are going to be spending time with my elderly and ill parents. My dad will be 87 years and is only 6-months old in the Lord as his Savior.! We do have a lot to be thankful for!
