I don't mean to be rude, friend, but you might take that as a hint that a game which glorifies so-called "magic" instead of the miracles of God is not an appropriate subject for a conservative Christian discussion board.

From Wiki:

Quote:
A "collect-the-pieces" plot begins, as the player must recover three key items that are necessary to recreate the portal. Martin states that the three things are "The blood of a divine" (Tiber Septim's armor, found at the fort "Sancre Tor", guarded by necromancers and four undead Blades warriors, furthering the plot and providing a backstory), the blood of a Daedra (any Daedric artifact acquired from one of the Daedra Shrines throughout the world), and a Great Welkynd Stone (a blue quartz like stone found at the Ayleid ruin "Miscarcand" on the road between the cities of Skingrad and Kvatch, and guarded by a Lich).

It's a game. What do you think, I'm gonna start seeing things at night or using ouja boards? No offense

I still remember the part where you had to steal the evil book from the cave lair thing. EPIC

I loved Oblivion, and right now am playing Morrowind

I could never get into Oblivion. I mean, it looks awesome (the forests are breathtaking), but I could just never get into it. Maybe because if I play an RPG it has to be of the MMO kind; I don't know. Actually, I just uninstalled it to free up some hard drive space because I never play it.

I was a big fan of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion back in the day (Roughly between 2005 and 2007, after which I didn't play it as much). I actually didn't complete the main mission/quest series until this year though, in spring break. I never liked the magic type of characters, so I was basically a pure-warrior wielding swords, bows, and sometimes axes. I think the last time I played this though, was when I actually completed the main series of quests... it's a good game even by today's standards, four or five years later, you know. The graphics are still good, but back when it first came out, I would go as far as to say they were excellent.

I'm the same way, never liked magic characters. In Morrowind I created one but ended using weapons most of the time. I guess knowing where magic might come from in the real world makes us not want to see it in the fantasy worlds (which is a good thing to feel this way).

I've been debating on quitting these type of games altogether, but I like them and know it's pure make believe. I really wish a company would put out good christian games out. There's nothing on consoles and just a few games for PC.

I didn't like Oblivion either even though I think it is a good game. I didn't like the magic system, thought it was too simplistic. The combat system with weapons was pretty realistic though. Really though even after ten years no game has come close to Everquest in terms of sheer depth.

True. Although many of the younger players have switched over to WoW in favor of its cartoon-ish graphics, rather than gameplay. I loved playing EQ and actually felt as if I was part of a larger world and community.

No other MMO I have ever played, made me feel like that

I'm actually just getting to really play Everquest for the first time because a medication I had to be on for the last 15 years made me too tired to play very much. I'm on a new medication and I play almost every day now for 4-6 hours. I'm very happy that I can play the game that I love.
