Ezekiel 38 through 39 tells of a future invasion of Israel by a vast coalition of nations that surround it. As we read the headlines in the newspapers, and witness the conflict in the Middle East, it's not hard to imagine that this invasion prophesied over 2600 years ago, could be fulfilled in our lifetime.

Default Peace and security talks re: ME/King Juan Carlos

B]MADRID: Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Sabah yesterday inaugurated the new Kuwaiti Embassy in Spain, in cooperation with the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Miguel Angel Moratinos. This step is seen as a "new bridge for the deep-rooted relations between Spain and Kuwait," Sheikh Mohammad said on the sidelines of the subsequent celebration marking the inauguration.[/B]

As Kuwait is heading the next GCC meeting, while Spain is heading the EU's by the beginning of next year, Sheikh Mohammad said that he discussed with the King of Spain Juan Carlos boosting cooperation between the two sides to achieve peace and security in the region.

Meanwhile, the Spanish FM said that his country is keen on enhancing relations with Kuwait a fact reflected in Sheikh Mohammad's meeting with the King, adding that the celebration "strengthens the partnership" between the two countries.
Spain is also keen on boosting cooperation with the Arab world and the countries of the Mediterranean region, he said.

Kuwait and Spain will face challenges while working to get the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the GCC and the EU endorsed, he said, adding that, if ratified, the agreement will be the fruit of 18 years of negotiations between the two bodies.

The Spanish minister said that he is hoping that His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah will visit Spain next year.

During Sheikh Mohammad's visit, he and his Spanish counterpart discussed cooperation between the GCC and the EU and devising solutions to probable differences between the two sides.

How old is Juan Carlos now?
He will be 72 in January................born Jan 1938 in Rome, while his parents were in exile. As a prince (who came from Rome) at 10 years old, in 1948 (same year Israel became a nation) he was sent back to Spain to be trained under General Franco. He was trained in the military, navy and air force......and went on to become king Nov. 22, 1975 right after Franco's death.

Juan Carlos is an interesting one to watch, but we are not suppose to be here to see the revealing of the AC. There are so many that could be, but he sure is someone to watch.

I think so. Remember satan likes to counterfiet(sp?) God. So I think the AC will be very young. Jesus was crucified at the age of 33. If we are going to "pin the tail on the AC" we need to be looking at a younger guy around the age of 30ish.

How old is Milliband?

Why do some of us focus on the Anti-Christ? All our attention should be on Jesus Christ and Him alone. Who cares about the A/C? We will be out of here before he is known to the world.

Mr Miliband looks interesting...
From Wikipedia-
His wife, Louise Shackelton, is a violinist with the London Symphony Orchestra.[10] Shackelton and Miliband have adopted two sons in the United States: the first, Isaac, in December 2004; and the second, Jacob, in October 2007.[11]
No real sons and their names are interesting JMHO

He is 44 Jesus was 33 Interesting!

UK foreign secretary: Obama critics miss the point

By DAVID STRINGER (AP) – 1 day ago

LONDON — British Foreign Secretary David Miliband on Saturday accused critics of U.S. President Barack Obama of foolishly expecting him to fix the world's woes single-handedly.

In a speech to London's Fabian Society think tank, Miliband said those sniping at Obama failed to understand the scale of challenges facing the international community, or the shifting power centers of global politics.

Obama has been criticized in recent months over his divisive health care plans and a prolonged decision-making process over whether to send more troops to Afghanistan. He also has been chided for making little headway in promoting Middle East peace, and has been dogged by rising unemployment and a sour economy.

"A year on from President Obama's election, people are already questioning why he has not already solved the world's problems. But the whole point of Obama's campaign was that the power and responsibility to change the world is distributed," Miliband said.

while that is a very true statement. i think it's also a mixture of curiosity and excitement that keeps us interested. curiosity at how things are gonna play out, and excitement that we are witnessing these things happen b4 our very eyes. also the the realization sinking in that the rapture is sooner than we ever thought it could be, and that we'll soon be out of this world

I don't see anywhere in Scripture where it indicates age...to think young or old is speculation. I just try to watch everyone. I received Dr Taylor's book under the strangest of circumstances in 1996, so strange it made me wonder many things...........the pastors I shared with too at the time..so I have watched his meetings since.

I am not saying he is the AC, noone knows who he is. Even when the covenant is confirmed I think he will just be one of many confirming it and everyone will be thinking peace and security. I don't think he is revealed at that time for who he really is.

Does anyone have a verse where he will be young? I think he may be an accomplished military man.

Daniel 11:40-42
