Hey everyone, I'm still doing great! I'm now over the 5 month mark....I'll be exactly 6 months on Nov. 21st!! SlavaBogu, I know it's hard....it is the hardest thing probably to do in Life if one has been exposed to the deadly toxins, but I can profess proudly and mightily that Lord Jesus has the POWER to comfort you through these withdrawals! He can take them away and really help you through the worst, no patch needed. You need to get all of the nicotine out of your body for proper healing to start. Trust me, I know it's rough but it IS something that can be done and it can truly increase your faith in the our Lord GREATLY!!!! This is coming from someone who has documented my relasping and past quit smoking failures in this very thread! I can truly say that I have smoked my last cigarette May 20th, 2009.

Love4-Congrats!!!! How I wish I could be in your shoes!! I think I can wean myself off the patch fairly quickly.. I wish I would have tried it YEARS ago!! So far I don't miss the stench at all!!!!!!!! God bless the both of you!!!!! And thank you!!

Hi all coming up to a year. Don't even want one. Sometimes i have to drive someone else's concrete truck that smokes, makes me want to throw up. All you just quitting keep it up it will be worth it. Ps i used to smoke 4 packs a day.

Will all of you add me to your prayers please?? I am trying AGAIN
This time though I feel the Lord insisting that I stop !! I came up with alot of excuses then I got a new housecleaning job that I have been praying for and ... the guy has emphazema ( sp) really really bad and he is still smoking !! It was a real eye opener for me and I came home and prayed and put on a patch !!! It is still very hard since it has only been 4 days but I feel a determination this time and when I feel tempted I get a picture of that guy dragging his oxygen tank around and still can't get a good breath. I so pray this time I can stay smoke free !!!!

I have just gone four days without a smoke.... and I'm stoked! I've been trying to quit for so long. last time I went this long without a cigarrette I ended up quitting for a year. Would have stayed smoke free too, if I hadn't been dumb enough to think one smoke wouldn't hurt me any. Anyway I just want to tell anyone out there trying to quit, I have a SERIOUS addiction to smoking and if I can do this, anyone can.
