My mom and sister are members of a local church of God.They believe they can lose their salvation,some speak in "tongue,s" and the church of God is" the" church because of the name they bear.They also have footwashing which if done right I feel should be in my(baptist)church.I think they are saved by the blood like we are but are off in some basic doctrines that don,t affect their salvation.

I am actually a Church of Christ member - but I don't think it is called The International Church of Christ. It has been around for very very long time and very closely aligned with the Baptist Church. We certainly don't say we are the only church that "has it right". I think our official name is "Churches of Christ - Australia". It bugs me there is some other organisation with a very like name? Mishk.

I've heard of him. I would never read anything written by him and I wouldn't place any stock in the nonsense he spouts. Just my .02 worth. You might want to google him or check our Apostasy forum to see if there's anything there about him.

Good evening fellow Jesus lovers!! I'm a new babe in Christ so hopefully every one can understand my desire to learn as much about the Lord as I can, the right way... Any who, I'm reding this book on The Incrediable Human Potential and even though some of the statment that Mr. Armstrong makes has bible scriptures qouted behind them, I know that the word og God can be taking out of content and twisted into wrong interpretations that new babe like me would just fall for. I order paphets and books from Daily Bread, Tommorow's world and etc. But its good to have different prospectives of what I may be reading. Any help is appreciated and pray for me that in my persuit for Jesus that I'll be deemed worthy of the Rapture.
