Hope Israel gives him the cold shoulder like the Israeli Chief of Staff was given a few weeks ago. As far as I care he can visit the 'Palestinians' and talk, talk, talk to them as much as he likes.

U.S. President Barack Obama will visit Israel and the West Bank in June, according to an announcement circulated among American diplomatic representations in the region. A senior diplomatic source confirmed to Haaretz that a decision was made in recent days to include a short visit to Israel and the Palestinian Authority during a visit in June to France, where President Nicolas Sarkozy will host Obama.
"Let me be clear: The United States strongly supports the goal of two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security," he said. A two-state solution "is a goal that the parties agreed to in the road map and at Annapolis," and that is "a goal that I will actively pursue as president."

President Bush visited the Western Wall when he was in Israel. Abomination of Obaminations, I can't imagine BO donning a yarmulke to pray!Wonder if by June he'll be blatant enough in his faith to visit the Dome of the Rock or Al-Aqsa?

Why do I get the feeling that Obama thinks he can go there, and in a few days solve all of the Middle East problems/conflicts - giving peace in the Middle East...All before breakfast.....On the strength of his amazing intelligence and skills......

It'll be interesting to see if he is allowed into the area reserved to muslims only.
We all should try to follow the news on this visit as it happens.
If this happens he'd probably spin it as proof that he is able to bring unity to the world.
