    I guess I can't post links yet, but I don't see it posted anywhere else....hope someone else will. The list of signatures is growing and growing!

    The Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) would eliminate every restriction on abortion nationwide.

    Barack Obama believes this legislation will "end the abortion wars." To him, "ending the abortion wars" means eradicating every state and federal law on abortion — laws that the majority of Americans support.

    I just signed the petition. It is really sad that I am not surprised by this.

    Do people that voted for Obama understand just what they voted for?

    Also, please e-mail everyone you know and ask them to sign this petition also. It is absolutely disgusting that this is even being considered.

    I signed it. Signatures are up to 75,632. We need to continue to get the word out because I truly believe that there are millions of people in this country who don't agree with the FOCA.

    Just signed it. Signatures are up to 84,599 now. Quite a hike from just a few hours ago.

    Yep and I just sent it to my family and my MIL for her to send it "with her authority" to her family. My DH side of the family is quite large (9 siblings with 13 grown nieces and nephews and all the inlaws, etc). I expect this to grow to millions...at least I hope so cuz that's what we will need! The Catholic Church is also taking a strong stand on this issue and mustering their congregation to sign the pledge and write Obama. At this point, I would be happy to just see the FOCA defeated. While it won't do anything about current abortion laws, it at least stems the tide a bit.

    It'll be interesting to see if he actually signs it. I'm glad there's going to be opposition to this monstrosity.

    If Obama passes this then he will be killing off his own people - the blacks because black women are the ones who have the most abortions - how insane he is.

    Billy Graham refuses to counsel Obama and is against his beliefs that abortion is ok and gay rights.. His son said they will pray for Obama and perhaps just speak to him but no more counseling of presidents.

    Thanks for posting this!! I hadn't heard about it but just signed it. It's at 96,291. I will pass on to my family and friends who I know will sign it and pass on to their family and friends. I'm glad I can do something as "small" as this to help the unborn children!
