Seriously, this is scary. Is there no end to the starry eyed obsession with this man?

Just a bunch of speeches. No treaties. No ceasefires. No arms reductions. No tangible results. Just a bunch of speeches.

And he got the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Bible says blessed are the peacemakers. Obama has to demonstrate that he has really earned the prize over the remainder of his term.

This is utterly laughable. I haven't read all the replies here so don't know if someone has mentioned this already, but my understanding is that the deadline for nominations was 2 weeks after Obama was in office. What in two weeks did he do to even earn a nomination? All he had done up to that point is run for President.

Really, the Nobel Prize lost all credibility a long time ago. Even the legitimate prizes for advances in the science and medical fields are becoming more political with each passing year. And that is all Obama's prize is; a political statement and not a bit about any real accomplishments.

One of the prize committee members stated that he voted for Obama because he supported his goals. Well if all it takes is intention I just might put together a better game plan and go claim his prize for myself.

But how can we be surprised by something like this in a world where students are rewarded for just showing up to class and not burning the building to the ground lighting their crack pipes and bongs.

When I pulled up Drudge this morning, I assumed it was a joke....I could NOT believe it was real. I feel like I'm living in an alternate universe...where right is wrong, true is false, up is down, and people like President Obama, Eric Holder, Kevin Jennings, Joe Biden, Cass Sunstein, Mark Lloyd, are in charge.

The world has turned completely upside down. He has done NOTHING to deserve this prize. I thought that I was going to be ill when I heard this news. Has the whole world drank the koolaid? Just wait and see he will push healthcare through, he will get re-elected and be more popular than ever, regardless of what happens. The whole world is just that delusional. I totally agree. If he's not "it", then the "one" to come will sure be a doozy, because I have never seen an individual's characteristics and worship by the world fit any better than this creepy Obama.

I read this somewhere too...that's February. Fishy to say the least...

But you know who will lose as a result of this "prize" - our troops. They will not get the support and reinforcement they so desparately need now.
