    The Secret Path of Salvation

Are you saved? Are you saved for sure? Are you certain? Do you doubt it? Do you question it? If you never knew Jesus Christ and you're a false convert, you must make a sincere choice for God's son. You must be broken over your sins and understand the great danger you're in. The best way to do that are the 10 commandments, God's law. When we realize we cannot meet that standard and failing in even one part of it either by your heart, concise, or actions equates to having broken the entire list; God demands perfect righteousness because He is both perfect and righteous... it's made plain to any rational person that they're guilty before a perfect and righteous God and that they must pay the penalty which is eternal condemnation in everlasting fire because God is eternal and everlasting. Thank God then for our salvation! Thank God then for His love and mercy and grace in that instead of justly sending us all to our deserved eternal fate, He provided a way of escape and not just an escape of condemnation, but of eternal life and adoption, that we can even be sons and daughters of the Most High God even as Jesus Christ is God's son! In this way we are made to be like God's righteous son Jesus Christ! We too will be children of the Father God, the Most High, The Eternal and Everlasting Glorious God of Creation! What love and mercy and grace our Lord God has? Who is like our God even remotely? The idols and false gods, every one of them harsh and demanding showing no real love at all but only demands. Not able to do anything good or bad, they're forgeries and utterly useless in every way, only "useful" in provoking the jealousy and wrath of the One True God. What a use! Every single one will vanish and never be heard from ever again. The day is coming soon when all the world will be unable to deny God. Even so, the world continues on the path of ruin...

As for us my brothers and sisters, let's take this secret path. This straight and narrow path. Secret not because it's hidden, it's in plain sight. Everyone "knows" about it. It's hidden because the world denies it is there and denies Him that commands us to walk this path. Our kind, wonderful, and glorious God walks with us on this path, giving directions to all who ask for them, and then offering to take us by the hand if we'll accept it. Do you? Will you?

Timothy.... your message is a good one but I confess I am really puzzled as to why you say the path to salvation is "secret". Even with your explanation

Secret not because it's hidden, it's in plain sight. Everyone "knows" about it. It's hidden because the world denies it is there and denies Him that commands us to walk this path
I admit I am still Could you explain further please?

It's a "secret" because people ignore it and pretend that it isn't real or doesn't exist, or that there is a better way, a "secret" way if you will. I'm just poking fun at the way people work things out like that. The straight and narrow path that our Lord Jesus calls us all to walk is hardly a secret and He's announced it to the entire world. People who will choose not to hear His message, will wonder about this great "secret" they've never found or heard of. But it was always there in front of them. Likely pointed out to them several times over their lifetime. His name is Jesus Christ. He is the "secret".

If it's confusing, I'll take it down. Sometimes the words I use and how I put them together make sense to me when they don't really make sense to other people.

Well, don't take it down yet on my account. It's 2am here and I should be in bed...... maybe in the morning it will make more sense, and others may read it and decide it's perfectly fine.

    Thanks for the explanation!

timothy, i know where you are coming from. if this is a message for the lost you have left out one thing and that is how does one recieve that forgiveness for sins. i don't know if this was to the lost or if it is for the saved to remind them that they need to share about hell as part of there witnessing?just curious. maranatha!

Jesus Christ wasn't clear enough? I made it a little ambiguous to stir the mind, but I've given it a couple reads and I believe it accurately depicts our relationship with our Lord Jesus. It's more or less geared to believers who might need to be reminded of God's grace, but even an unbeliever could read it and conclude that the path to salvation involves Jesus Christ. Perhaps not in the clearest most concise terms, but let's be honest. If you're here on the rr-bb, it's very likely the process of salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ has been explained by people far better then me.

All my post does is compound on these truths and maybe explain the lesser represented aspects that entail salvation such as explaining not only our salvation but our adoption as sons and daughters, the fiery end that we escape, and the empty useless life we've left behind of following after other things (idols) rather then following The One True God.

I thought perhaps I had made it too generic, but I see now that it's accomplishing the intention I had in mind for it.
Even so, I hope that clears things up for you.

please don't assume that everyone on here is saved because the Bible is clear that the wheat and tares are mingled together. i was not trying to discredit what you wrote, i was only concerned that if someone where to read your post that it may not give a complete picture of what they need to do. yes, there are lost people that come to rr-bb and we should always be aware of that. maranatha!

Dear friend, I never said anything about anyone's salvation or the state they may be in. I've merely laid out the state we were in and the state the saved are in by grace and mercy extended to all by our loving and merciful God Jesus Christ. My message is one of reflection not of judgment. Whether tares or wheat, the message is laid out and made plain for both. We are all born as tares in the field, our short lives judged by the harvest scythe. Tares get put in a pile and burned up, wheat get's collected. Wheat is the farmers delight the bounty of His work, tares are a useless troublesome weed that must be destroyed. All of us get to choose which one we would like to be. Count the cost, do the homework, and make your choice. Always been a fan of honey wheat bread myself.

We are either for Jesus Christ, or we are against Him.

Please don't assume I'm making an assumption. A very dangerous one, no less. Salvation is an issue between the individual and our Lord and God. We (you, me, and the rest of humanity) can "know" them by their fruits and we are certainly to distance ourselves and rebuke a so-called believer who bears rotten fruit and does sin without remorse, yet claims to be a believer. Certainly they are a liar and they do share bread with Satan! But yet only God knows everything for certain. But we are to judge among ourselves. If the scriptures say we are to judge even angels, we certainly better be able to discern matters among mere men, ourselves. At best we see things dimly through a dark glass. But when we are united with our King and Redeemer Jesus, we'll see everything clearly. I'm not sure I can make it any clearer then I already have but if you still don't understand, I will try as best as I'm able to help you.

    God bless you abundantly!
