Combining RR-BB.com into RaptureForums.com

Because it has become insanely difficult to manage a bulletin board these days, the managers of Rapture Ready and Rapture Forums have decided to join our boards together under a software program that is easier to manage. Because RF has their database operating well under an Enforo license, we decided to make Rapture Forums the focal point of a consolidation. Since Chris, the owner of RF, has long experience in running a forum, he can better manage the problems that come with this technology.

If you do not have an account at https://www.raptureforums.com/forums/, please sign up. By the end of November, it will become the forward address of RR-BB.com

    Ready, Set, Wait
    By: Maxine M.

Do you wake up wondering what difficulty you’ll face today?
You have plans, but life has its own design, yours may be put in delay
Does the thought cross your mind, ‘I’m not in charge, everything will be done HIS way’?

Troubles and problems are always an integral part of life, along with the happy times that occur
Daily challenges are determined to ruin the victorious moments we prefer
Persistent adverse situations that must be dealt with, to His wisdom, we defer

Now one of the most difficult things to actually do is to simply WAIT
Children can hardly wait for a holiday or birthday, great anticipation it will create
Even as adults, we all look forward to an upcoming special date

God told us those who WAIT upon the Lord shall renew their strength again & again
(Isaiah 40:30-31)They will run and not be weary, walk and not faint, step by step taken by all men
They’ll mount up with wings as eagles, over all those troubles and problems win

The people of the old testament were promised a Messiah would come and set them free
Free them from Roman domination; they waited believing this was God’s solemn unbreakable decree
Old Simeon waited as he was personally promised (Luke 2:26) he wouldn’t die before this Saviour he’d see

When he held the baby Jesus (Luke 2:27-32), he knew his waiting was finally done
The fulfillment of the promise to send to earth His very own Son
The long awaited Saviour, the first step in God’s plan for deliverance had begun

But the people misunderstood the plan, which was to SAVE them from themselves and the burden sin will bring
By His sacrificial death and rising again, He could free them from Satan’s grip & deadly sting
Forgiveness for ALL could be found by accepting His gift; in THEIR HEARTS make Him King

His birth brought spiritual Light to those sitting in darkness…by the truth the Son brought
He came to demonstrate God’s love and extend the Grace, mercy & peace the people sought
By His miracles, help & healing to all, a sense of hope was taught

Then after the resurrection, He was SEEN ascending back to Heaven; (Acts1: 10-11) His return by angel’s was ASSURED
Now we, as believers, WAIT expectantly for Him to fulfill His spoken Word
We trust that a place forever in His presence is guaranteed…the promise we heard

Waiting!! Means to STAY in expectation, to anticipate an action or event
But one must be prepared for this happening, know EXACTLY what He meant
Preparation means you’ve accepted Him as Saviour; from your sins you’ve taken time to repent

So are YOU looking eagerly, hopefully to the day Jesus Christ will return?
Or do you just scoff, or ignore it as an old fable…it’s not part of your daily concern
Oh you go to church once a week, but does the thought of Him coming again make your heart yearn?

Many will say, ‘but He’s been gone SO long, what proof can you show?
Aren’t Christians just fooling themselves, how can anyone possible know?
Since the beginning of time things are the same here on earth below’

But God Himself (2 Peter 3:8) said, “ONE DAY, to Him, is like 1000 years in our time frame”
So you see this assures He isn’t slack about the promise, He’s WAITING for those who have cursed His name
Patiently waiting for them to come, thus He can treat all repentant souls the same

Those who accept that (John 3:16) “God so LOVED the world, He gave His only Son”…agape love portray
The Perfect for the imperfect, the only way sin’s stain could be washed away
WHY would a Saviour, willing to die for you, His promise to return betray?!

So in accepting, WHAT are you waiting for?? That upcoming wedding or a baby’s due date?
New school year, job promotion, better health, good news, the newspaper saturate?
Why not rejoice in that one day SOON all the difficulties will be over…in the Rapture participate

(Matthew 24:36) For Jesus could come today, tomorrow or in one of the coming years
It’s urgent to GET READY, STAY ready, get OTHER’s ready…help calm their fears
Proclaim the Gospel, spread the Word as the Glorious event DAILY nears!

    Wonderful!

    Excellent!! I enjoyed it thoroughly!!!

    God Bless,
1Co 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed!
