Combining RR-BB.com into RaptureForums.com

Because it has become insanely difficult to manage a bulletin board these days, the managers of Rapture Ready and Rapture Forums have decided to join our boards together under a software program that is easier to manage. Because RF has their database operating well under an Enforo license, we decided to make Rapture Forums the focal point of a consolidation. Since Chris, the owner of RF, has long experience in running a forum, he can better manage the problems that come with this technology.

If you do not have an account at https://www.raptureforums.com/forums/, please sign up. By the end of November, it will become the forward address of RR-BB.com

  • A few random quips from kids

Who needs writers when you have these kids in a ministry?

We use different colors and call them fruit belts after the fruits of the Spirit, but refer to our leaders by different belt colors. Kyle actually is a white belt but wasn't thinking of that when he said this.
Robbie was making a comment about something, and Kyle, 9, and 3-4 years younger than most of the kids, said, "I'm a belt Im small enough to go around people's waists."

Kyle's older brother Josh, meanwhile, on the same outing was holding a small magnifier while outside where we ate at a picnic table, and said, "If you hold this just right, you can really hurt your eyes..." and a split second later said, "OW!" He had, of course, been looking down and shone that magnifier at just the right angle...or the wrong one, actually. He was okay, though, after that momentary shock of doing.. just what he knew it would do.

Who knows, maybe he did that on purpose to be funny, too. Aftr all, he came up with the following.

One of the kids at our flag football practice was being really lazy and only likely wanted to be there because his brother and cousin were. Finally, our director asked, "What's wrong, and of course this 10 YO needed an excuse ... now, it's mid-afternoon, of course, but the excuse he comes up with is:
"It's too early in the morning."
Obviously he pulled it out from a list in his mind of why he wouldn't want to get up for school or something. The best part, though, was Josh's perfect deadpan, matter-of-fact comment:
Yeah, it is just after three.

He said that witha straight face. i don't know how; I found it hard to keep a straight face after that line.
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
