Combining RR-BB.com into RaptureForums.com

Because it has become insanely difficult to manage a bulletin board these days, the managers of Rapture Ready and Rapture Forums have decided to join our boards together under a software program that is easier to manage. Because RF has their database operating well under an Enforo license, we decided to make Rapture Forums the focal point of a consolidation. Since Chris, the owner of RF, has long experience in running a forum, he can better manage the problems that come with this technology.

If you do not have an account at https://www.raptureforums.com/forums/, please sign up. By the end of November, it will become the forward address of RR-BB.com

  • Really Amazon?

A small... little rant.... I heard of a movie made last year called Left behind: Vanishing the next generation. Saw the trailor.. looked interesting. Tried to to watch it on all sources I could find. Netflix, youtube (no surprise there) and VUDU. The only place I found it was VUDU. It was late so I thought.. Oh I'll watch it tomorrow. The next day it was gone. LIke... they took it off their list completely. My husband finally found it on Amazon Prime through the streaming. (After an hour of trying to find it.) We finally found it but they wouldn't stream it. It said it was "Dangerous content." It's a PG movie. Like really? Walking dead is playing right now on TV and it's really gory and nasty and you won't let me watch a movie about the after effects of the rapture? Really annoying.

Sorry for my rant. It's just hard to believe that this movie is the one they deem "Dangerous."

Come soon Lord Jesus - Take us Safely Home

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Censorship is alive and well. Sad, so sad. I wonder how many other things we don't have access to, but don't even realize. I have some songs that I love that are Christian music, I wonder if they will be censored. Most things we won't realize because when we do a google search, the results will be filtered to give us what they want us to see, and not what they don't.

I know a few years ago I had emails that were never delivered to a friend when they had "Evangelism" in the Subject line. A test email went through just fine. I told my friend what was happening and my friend was stunned to think that censorship was happening. Most people don't notice; and even those who do, just say it was a glitch.

Interesting that the Rapture of the Church is deemed Dangerous. lol. If they only knew that it is what comes After the Rapture that is the danger!
"Therefore my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable,
      always abounding in the work of the Lord;
knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."

      1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV)

        Amen!

A movie about the rapture is dangerous, but you'll see many "soft pornography" movies while scrolling through the Amazon prime movie lists.

Would Pureflix have it?? That is a Christian Movie site. Netflix has basically stopped showing Christian movies. It is kind of like the local marcus theaters, they use show Christian based movies but now they show none of them. So will have to drive out of town to see a movie like that.

I'll have to see if I can find it and stream it via amazon prime. This winter we got our internet connection repaired and we can actually stream now...

I found it but saw that I'd have to pay a rental fee to watch it... it wasn't on the freebie list. Amazon will let you buy a copy for $14.99. Wal*Mart shows that you can rent or buy from them.

I rented it and I thought it was pretty good. Was just irritating that you have to do so much to watch it.
