      Water, water everywhere..........

Safe and dry here, my house is on a hill. Flooded all around me. The creek below our house is now a river, the interstate is flooded both east and west of us. Lots of people and businesses around here are underwater, please pray for middle Tennessee, devastated.

          Silentone-
I have been keeping you in my prayers. We just found out a few hours ago that hubby's family is safe thus far in the Nashville area.
Praying for all in your area.

You're correct. East Tn. has escaped so far. Hopefully it will continue to do so. West Tn. and Middle Tn. have really been devastated and will continue to be again today. Nashville is already flooded and with lots more on the way. People in Tn. really need prayers.

Unfortunately, heavy rain is forecast this evening in East Tennessee through early tomorrow, so there is likely to be some flooding, especially in the East Tennessee plateau counties.

I am surrounded by water- thankfully our subdivision is not flooded, but our town is completely covered with water. This is unprecedented- Nashville area does not usually flood.

Thanks silent one- I love the sneetches story.

Hope everything is ok where you are at- we have a curfew after 6:00 p.m. so it has been pretty bad here. We have a river that runs through our town and it has overflowed. The Cumberland River downtown has completely overflowed the park and now is reaching the streets and into the historical district.

Ok here, lots of flooding all around here in Dickson area but we are safe and dry. A friend of mine that goes to a different church called me though and said that about 4 families at their church have houses that are totally flooded and they had to be rescued.
