  • This is yet another state that has overturned the decision of the voters. How is this even lawful? The people vote, and that should be the final say. But voting is just a joke now. We, the people, are made to think we have a choice in the voting booth, but I don't believe we do. It's all a big charade. Bribery and fraud have sullied one of the only ways that we have to demonstrate our power and voice. The government once worked for us. Now, we are slaves to the government, with rights that are continuously taken away from us.

Whoever the demon prince is of the United States—let's call him Sam, but he prefers us to say "Uncle"—he's doing an amazing job of spreading the disease of lawlessness throughout our three branches of government. They're all his muppets, and every time I see one of them selling snake oil on TV with their brittle smiles and false words and monstrous arrogance, I want to be sick. Nancy Pelosi is a perfect example.

While I totally agree with your sentiment, it's important to remember that the "rule of law" should trump any "will of the people" in a Constitutional Republic. Just think if the will of the people tomorrow was for outlawing Christianity and taking Christian-Families children away from them, to be foster cared by more "loving and understanding" couples?

Remember, the German-Nazi party rose because of the "will of the people". Democracy is a very dangerous precedent--what's good today could be considered evil tomorrow (as we are seeing in these last days of this age).
John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.

Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

      • The only basis I can see for a judge to overturn the will of the voters is if he/she decides that the will of the people withholds a right guaranteed by the Constitution. So...this judge must have decided that people have the 'right' to marry whomever they choose. This too is a dangerous decision.

        Maranatha, Jesus come!
Ph 3:15 (paraphrased):...And if on some point you and I think differently, that too God will make clear to us. Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

Then they should never have allowed the people of my state to vote on the issue of gay rights TWICE and then overturn the people's decision when they didn't like what the people had to say. Why waste voters' time when the "rule of law" (or large sums of money from out-of-state liberals, more like) is going to have the final word?

It is a waste of time....The point is for Judges to serve as a check against an unconstitutional intent by voters. The will of "the people" means nothing in a Constitutional Republic (unless you get an Amendment passed). If the Founders wanted "mob rule", this nation would've lasted only one generation.

Gays should have rights--they deserve equal protection under the law just as much as anybody else....where it gets dicey, is when the Fed steps in and declares this group should have more rights than that group. And that game is played every day in this nation.

Rights as human beings Sword. Not rights to spew their garbage everywhere and force it down our throats(which is what they are doing). Nobody in their right mind wants to live in a society that executes homosexuals just for being do they?
God is patient with all of us up to a certain point--it incumbent upon them to change. If they don't, we know what their destiny is unfortunately.

One would immediately answer the question (bolded) with a 'no'; but then the thought comes, what would Jesus do or what will Jesus do when he is King Jesus and ruling with a rod of iron? Will he enforce the Levitical standard? If yes, then execution for such behavior will be done. As I understand it, the main point of these standards was not for punishment, but for the protection of society.

Carol you are right on I think! I'm just not sure that in the Age of Grace vetting out this type of punishment is where we should be going. Maybe I'm wrong?

                      • I think they should not be executed(per the Age of Grace as you said Florian), but they should not be able to display such behavior in public, whether it be kissing, gay pride parades or whatever. Neither do I think they should be able to speak to children about such matters or adopt children period. Also..they should not be allowed to organize as a political lobby group.

                        • Mozilla CEO under fire for supporting anti-gay marriage initiatives

                          http://www.cnet.com/news/mozilla-ceo...fox-cause-q-a/

Brendan Eich knew there would be challenges taking over as Mozilla chief executive -- competing with Chrome, rebuilding the Web as a foundation for apps, finding a mobile foothold for Firefox OS.

What he didn't expect was that a political issue would push aside those technology concerns. Eich's donation of $1,000 to the Proposition 8 effort to ban gay marriage in California, made in 2008 and uncovered through public records in 2012, became a rallying point for a large and vocal group that has fought for years for those marriage rights. More than 70,000 people have signed a petition asking for Eich to resign if he can't unequivocally say he supports marriage equality.

3% of the population is holding a political gun to the head of Corporate & Christian America. If companies would stand up to them a lot of this nonsense wouldn't happen. This game has been played over and over again with feminazi's and racialists in corp. America.

The game is, first you must hire enough of "us" to show you are "inclusive". Next, you must hire enough of us that "represents the community" we serve with corralating percentages. Eventually, the "percentages" will show that these groups are now over-represented even with regards to the population--and it won't matter.

That's their end game. Dominate. Stamp out Christians. Stamp out Conservatives. Heads they win, tails you lose.
