Alison - Had you said anything about a living faith in the living Lord Jesus and not just concentrated on *polling* fundies for kicks and then crying *victim*, we may have pegged you for something other than a troll.

Most of you that have conversed with have been horrible and unloving and you question my salvation! God forgive you for your narrow-minded bigotry and down right nastiness to someone who dares to question your right-wing views. The Lord teaches to love others and unfortunately I see little love coming from here. Thank the Lord that there are some decent Godly people who have replied to me and not questioned my salvation or rammed their own political agenda down my throat but merely tried to help my sincere questions.
In future I will be very careful when fellowshipping and debating with Americans, I am so very hurt at the way you have reacted to what was genuine interest and concern about Obama not about his political ideologies! I am also worried; if this is how you treat a sister in the Lord with whom you will share eternity, how more hateful will you be to non-believers who need our love in this troubled world and at this pivotal time. Some people can't pick themselves up from the scrap heap but I thought Jesus called us to help them up, Jane; He certainly does that, thankfully!

      Goodbye
Ah, our devil's advocate and leftist UK Obamabot doesn't want to play anymore. Oh well.

No more lying, no more trolling and crying victim while you chastise our members and then trying to sign up again with another account for more.

We hope you learned something of our opinions Alison. Among them we hold honesty and sincerity in pretty high regard. The truth and frankness you encountered here tore down your facade of deceit in short order and that in itself should serve as a lesson to you.

Yes, Jesus called us to help. Nobody on here will deny that. What some of us are trying to show you is that there are different ways to make this occur. There can be a strong centralized government that could see to it that the wealth would get evenly distributed, a government run by fallen, sinful human beings just like us.
Or, as a saved believer in Jesus Christ (the risen Messiah), each one of us can do our share to help the downtrodden.

We seem to differ in how the help occurs and from whom it is to come. I prefer a smaller central government, and allowing people to help others as they see fit. I prefer the self-determination that comes from a free populace. I prefer the risk of being a winner or a loser to the guarantee of money without any incentive to further oneself. Invention seems to flourish in the free enterprise system. Take away the incentive (more money if you find a better way), and people lose the will to succeed. Why bother? If the money is coming in whether you deserve it or not, where's the incentive to get ahead? That's my opinion only.
Jesus saith unto him, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me." John 14:6

Boy, that was a lotta drama......goodbye cruel board......sniff....... If that was too mean for you, forgive me. Sounds like you didn't expect to last long. Sounds like you wanted to flame out. Sounds like your efforts were wasted. If you desire to have a true, meaningful affect on people like us, then you'll need to know and handle the scriptures accordingly. Go and study, young lady.

                Joel 3:2

I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.

All I see in socialism is enabling lazy people to remain that way. Scripture is very clear that we need to work to provide for ourselves as well as help others.

For what it's worth, Obama did say that he thinks the Muslim call to prayer is the most beautiful sound in the world. Now that might not mean anything deep, but politicians seldom say anything without calculation unless they're Joe Biden so I have to wonder why he felt it necessary to say that. He is such a narcissist that even if he has any faith outside himself, it is secondary to his own "awesomeness" in his own mind.

Alison, its not just US Christians who despise him. It's conservatives in general. His policies are a direct attempt to further erode the Constitution. We hold the Constitution to be dear. Its not a document that should be changed on whims - it preserves our rights. Recently Obama signed into law NDAA - the National Defense Authorization Act which strips US Citizens of their Citizenship for terrorist activity. The problem is, ANYTHING can be deemed terrorist activity. That is just one of many many policies he has chosen to support that eek away at the America we know and love.

They don't even have to prove terrorist activity, just claim it to be so. There went due process rights out the window.

Unfortunately, I don't believe someone like Alison will truly grasp this. Jesus will have to move in her life so that she understands where she has gone wrong. It appears that she seems to be very similar in thought to Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams. I hope I am wrong, though.

Alison, here's an article on ;Obama and Abortion to give you an idea from a main-stream standpoint of his views. Basically, he believes in abortion up until the time the child is delivered from the mother's womb at 40 wks.
