Combining into

Because it has become insanely difficult to manage a bulletin board these days, the managers of Rapture Ready and Rapture Forums have decided to join our boards together under a software program that is easier to manage. Because RF has their database operating well under an Enforo license, we decided to make Rapture Forums the focal point of a consolidation. Since Chris, the owner of RF, has long experience in running a forum, he can better manage the problems that come with this technology.

  • Michale Rood, A Rood Awakening.

Just caught a glimpse of his show the other day has anyone else heard of him? What do you think of him? Hope this is the right place for this. If It's not sorry, I asked this question trying to get more informed about him. Not trying to upset the MOD's or break any rules.

I recently emailed Zola Levitt Ministries and here are is their reply

My name is Todd Baker and I am the staff theologian for the ministry. I am answering some of their mail for them.

Michael Rood has taught aberrant teaching in the past just as he now is in the present. He claimed at one time we were living in the Tribulation. Two big problems with that (1) The Rapture has not occurred and (2) there has been no seven year peace deal brokered by the anti-Christ with Israel. Rood also has denied historic essentials of the Christian faith like the Trinity and salvation by faith alone apart from the works of the Law. To me, he is a false teacher.

Also, here are some more links

Here is the websites concerning Rood.

IMO Michael Rood is a perfect example of a wolf in Sheep's clothing and a lot of people is falling for his deception.

Michael Rude finally submitted his statement of faith on his website

        Statement of Faith

        1. Name: A Rood Awakening Ministries International

2.Statement of Purpose − The purpose for which this corporation has been established is to further the education of the general public as to the contemporary application of the ancient Biblical customs, writings and artifacts; the conducting of tours, seminars and educational forums for the presentation of archeological discoveries, ancient calendar calculations and the application of these modern conventional religious thoughts and practice. In addition, it will provide audio/video recordings and printed media for personal and educational purposes, including radio, television, CD/DVD productions, internet, books and printed materials.

3.STATEMENT OF FAITH − A Rood Awakening is an educational ministry dedicated to helping individuals to understand the Hebrew Scriptures and encouraging them to live a Torah observant life.

We believe that the principle expression of our faith is found in the Hebrew Scriptures:
Deuteronomy 6:4-5 “Hear, O Israel: YHWH is our God, YHWH is one. And thou shalt love YHWH thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”
Deuteronomy 4:2 “Ye shall not add unto the Word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of YHWH your Elohim which I command you.”
Hebrews 11:6 “…YHWH is – and He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him.”

We believe that there exists only one true God – the invisible God – the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

We believe that the Torah is the Self-Revelation of YHWH, The one true God, and to seek Him we must follow His instructions for finding Him.

We believe that the Torah was written in the heart of man from the beginning of creation and where the Torah is lived out faithfully, the attributes of YHWH are manifest in the world.

We believe that due to sin and the fall of man, the joy and knowledge of spiritual communion with YHWH has been greatly diminished. This has led to the continued corruption, distortion, and desecration of the image of YHWH in man. At the time man’s sensual eyes were opened, he chose to live by his senses rather than by revelation knowledge gained through communion with his Creator. Because of this, man has propagated false and distorted images that have led to the world’s religious systems and idolatry.

We believe that because man lives by his senses YHWH has encountered man through his senses. To this end, the Almighty gave the Torah in a tangible written form through Moses to the Children of Israel at Mount Sinai, as recorded in the Hebrew Scriptures.

We believe that Israel is YHWH’S chosen people. At Sinai, the children of Israel (consisting of Jacob’s offspring and the mixed multitude that came out of Egypt with them) agreed to live by the revealed Torah of YHWH. We believe that Israel is defined as those who keep this covenant – whether natural born Israelite or grafted in.

We believe that the Children of Israel are chosen to demonstrate YHWH in the world through their obedience to the Torah. By doing so, the Children of Israel become a light of revelation to the nations that all mankind may come to know the One True Elohim.

We believe that YHWH has bound himself to the Children of Israel through His covenant promises. The Torah contains the records of these covenants. We believe that one cannot benefit from these covenant promises without being “grafted in” to the root of Israel. We believe that we become a member of the household and a citizen of the commonwealth of Israel through faith in Yahshua the Messiah (Jesus the Christ). We believe that Yahshua the Messiah came to restore the Children of Israel back to YHWH, to the Torah, and, in the end, to the Land of Promise.

We believe that Yahshua of Nazareth is the only begotten Son of the one true God, was born of a virgin, was anointed with the fullness of the Holy Spirit as the promised Messiah of Israel, died in place of all who break the covenant, was raised from the dead after three days and three nights in the grave, and received the Divine authority to judge and rule over heaven and earth.

We believe that Yahshua paid the debt so that it would be possible for us to enter again into the covenant thus fulfilling Isaiah’s prophetic promise of the “renewed Covenant”. We believe that Yahshua came not to destroy the Torah but to give it meaning and substance. Yahshua is our only Rabbi – teaching us Torah through His words, actions and the gift of the Holy Spirit. We believe that Yahshua is the Torah become flesh and dwelling among us as the light of the world.

We believe that all believers in Yahshua are called to become the body of Messiah through the keeping of the Torah. We believe that when the Spirit of the Holy One fulfills the Renewed Covenant promise, the Torah will again be written on the hearts of all believers restoring the image of YHWH in man and in the world.
We believe that neither fear of hell nor hope of salvation is the proper motivation for obeying the Torah, but rather, love for our Creator is the sole reason we keep the Torah. We believe that those who keep either the rules of man-made religion or the ordinances in the Torah in order to escape hell or to gain heaven are “under the law”. Those who keep Torah out of genuine love for YHWH without thought of reward or punishment are living out the true spirit of the Torah.

We believe that the Torah is a gift of grace to every believer. We believe that those who love Yahshua will manifest his nature and keep YHWH’S commandments joyfully and will not find them to be grievous. Thus obedience to the Torah is the fruit of the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Torah was neither destroyed, nor annulled, nor contradicted by the life, teaching, ministry, death or resurrection of the Messiah. Rather, the Torah contains clear and detailed revelations about the Messiah’s life, ministry, sacrifice, and return. We believe that the Gospels record the teachings of Yahshua and detail the conflicts that ensued as he lived the Torah in a society dominated by a man-made religious system that contradicted the instructions in the Torah.

We believe that YHWH has called us to restore the teaching and practice of Torah among believers in Yahshua Messiah and that they may again embody the image of Elohim in the world and become a light of hope for the nations.

Did you notice the absence of the Trinity doctrine? Or the Deity of Christ? He is aligning himself with the Hebraic Root cults quite nicely with this statement of faith.

Good work, DerRickster! In my opinion, this guy is particularly egregious and corrupt.
