Combining RR-BB.com into RaptureForums.com

Because it has become insanely difficult to manage a bulletin board these days, the managers of Rapture Ready and Rapture Forums have decided to join our boards together under a software program that is easier to manage. Because RF has their database operating well under an Enforo license, we decided to make Rapture Forums the focal point of a consolidation. Since Chris, the owner of RF, has long experience in running a forum, he can better manage the problems that come with this technology.

If you do not have an account at https://www.raptureforums.com/forums/, please sign up. By the end of November, it will become the forward address of RR-BB.com

Venice Labyrinth Has Some Churchgoers Balking At Circles
Published May 5th, 2010 by Ken Silva in Contemplative Spirituality, General News
“You got me goin’ in circles” as the old song goes. From the L.A. Times:

Sculptor Robin Murez saw an overgrown corner lot as ripe for resurrection. After months of plotting and planting, the Oakwood Labyrinth opened — with many loving it and others taking a dimmer view.

With its burned-out lawn and overgrown bushes, the corner lot next to Bethel Tabernacle Church in Venice struck sculptor Robin Murez as ripe for resurrection.

So Murez laid plans to turn the church-owned lot into a pocket park with an in-ground labyrinth, where neighbors could gather to chat, and aging churchgoers could park there for suppers and Bible study…

After months of plotting and planting, the Oakwood Labyrinth at 6th and San Juan avenues was officially unveiled on Saturday — World Labyrinth Day…

But the lawyer-turned-artist has learned something about the community she thought she knew so well: Even if one’s aim is to improve an area that needs improving, not everyone will be thrilled with the results…

For a good perspective on contemplative and mystical practices such as labyrinths see Evangelical Leaders Promote Eastern Contemplative Practices. We now return you to the song:

You got me going in circles (oh round and round I go); (oh round and round I go) I’m spun out over you, You got me going in circles…

I found this secular songs lyrics- so telling of how those who don't know Christ as their Savior end up.
This is exactly what these maze goers will encounter.

    Maze

The overhead view is of me in a maze
And you see what I’m hunting a few steps away
And I take a wrong turn and I’m on the wrong path
And the people all watching enjoy a good laugh

Embarrassed with failure, I try to reverse
The course that my tread had already traversed
So doing the trauma engulfing my dream
Invaded through what was an unguarded seam
The torrent of helplessness swept me away
To the cavern of shame and the hall of dismay
Inside me a voice was repeating this phrase:
You’ve lost it, you’ll never get out of this maze
You’ll never get out of this maze x7

I wonder if the folks who are "okay" with it have any clue of its origins?
