I can tell you that some of those mentioned for Nebraska at

    http://www.willowcreek.com/wca_info/...te=NE&Country=

are seeker-sensitive and push other false teachings

Stonebridge Christian Church of Omaha and Trinity Church of Omaha

I know both have pushed the Shack book and are have pushed other false teachers

Christ Community Church of Omaha and Brookside Church of Omaha are heavily associated with Bill Hybels

King of Kings Lutheran Church of Omaha and Westside Church of Omaha are both purpose-driven churches

Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church frequently has Jay West " healing services"

(Jay west is a water-carrier for folks like Todd Bentley and Patricia King and others like those 2

I really cant comment on the other Omaha area ones listed at:

    http://www.willowcreek.com/wca_info/...te=NE&Country=

    cause some are so-so okay

and some I havent really done much research on.

I think any church listed at

    http://www.willowcreek.com/wca_info/...fileSearch.asp

is a church I would be cautious about cause no church unless they are seeker-sensitive

or totally ignorant on the Seeker-sensitive agenda

would want to be associated with the Willow Creek Assocation

      What? no "maybe" option....

      just teasing.

my only objection would be that it would be a 100 mile long list and could be hard to sort through.

How about a list of churches that are not seeker-sensitive?

Lighthouse Trails has a short list of Christians colleges that don't have contemplative spirituality in their curriculum (or elsewhere). If they listed those who are contemplatvie, it would be very long, like icebear said.

Well we wouldn't have to make a list we just would post the link in my original post so people can type in the city search tool on the website and find them that way.

If they know of a seeker friendly church that is not on the search tool then they can post it.

True I can see your point of view.

I would think that a list of non-seeker, non-emergent would be shorter, but we'll take anything!

Yes, but start it from here as you can search the states here.

                http://www.willowcreek.com/wca_info/...fileSearch.asp

Sadly, the chuch we just started attending is on the list. Figures.

God said it, I believe it, that settles it.

My current church is NOT on the WCA list.

Sadly my former church is on the list and they are doing Hybels 'Just Walk Across the Room' as a church-wide SS study beginning this Sun. I'm sorry but I like my Bible study fellowship time to get deeper than the ankle-depth of Bill Hybels. Is it too much to ask to actually dive headfirst into the Word of God?

Yes, this would be good. I don't know how to make a sticky though.

Okay help me out. My family attends Life Church.TV in Oklahoma. I know it is on the list but I have to say I absolutely love Craig the pastor. There have only been a few times that I have not agreed with something he preached. And of late I have seen a real change in his sermons... True transparity and a call for those that call themselves Christians to really look at their life and see if it compares to what the Bible says about being a Christian... The only thing I really dislike about the church is its size and the music gets a little out of hand at times... Please pray that if God wants us to move, my entire family will hear the call....

Life Church in Oklahoma is pastor Craig Groeschel 's church

I would be wary of anything that has to do with Craig Groeschel

he is friends with a lot of false teachers and also friends with some very questionable pastors

I have read this before on the Forum. Believe me, I don't want to be anywhere near any false teaching. But for the most part he teaches truth, thus the reason I am having a hard time leaving....
